# Change your password

You need your current password to choose a new one. If you forgot your password, see [Reset your password](/en/getting-started/reset-your-password).

> This logs you out on all your devices, and on this device too. You then log in with the new password.

## Change the password

1. Open **Profile** in the side menu.
2. Select **Your password** under **Edit**.
3. Type your **Current password**.
4. Type a **New password** of at least 8 characters.
5. Type the same password in **Confirm the password**.
6. Select **Save**.
7. [Log in](/en/getting-started/log-in) with the new password when MedLibro asks you to.

## If MedLibro refuses the password

- **The password you entered is wrong.** Type your current password again.
- **The passwords must match.** Type the same new password in both fields.
- **At least 8 characters.** Choose a longer password.
