# Choose your scoring rule

A score can use two rules. With **All or nothing**, only a fully correct answer counts. With **Partial credit**, an incomplete answer can earn part of the points.

## Choose the rule

1. Open **Settings** from your [account menu](/en/account#account-menu).
2. Select **All or nothing** or **Partial credit** in **The default scoring rule** row.

MedLibro keeps this choice on your account. It uses this rule first when it shows the score of a session or a playlist. Until you choose, it uses **All or nothing**.
