# Edit or delete a note

You can correct or remove a note in its book, or beside its question. A change shows in both places.

## Edit a note in its book

1. Open the book on the page of the note.
2. At the end of the date line of the note, select the ⋯ button.
3. Select **Edit**. On a computer, a window opens over the book. On a phone, a panel opens above the keyboard. The question shows above your note.
4. Change the text.
5. Select **Save**.

**Cancel** keeps the note as it was, and loses your changes.

## Delete a note in its book

This deletes the note for good. It leaves your Notebook and the question.

1. At the end of the date line of the note, select the ⋯ button.
2. Select **Delete**.
3. Select **Confirm**.

A question with no note left leaves the page. A course with no note left leaves the **Contents**. A book with no note left leaves the shelf.

## Edit a note beside its question

1. Open the notes of the question.
2. At the end of the date line of the note, select the ⋯ button.
3. Select **Edit**. The text of the note moves into the field.
4. Change the text.
5. Select the send button.

## Delete a note beside its question

Beside a question, **Delete** removes the note at once, and MedLibro does not ask you to confirm. To delete the note, select the ⋯ button, then select **Delete**.
