# Find your notes

You can find your notes on the shelf of the Notebook. You can also go straight from a question to its page in the Notebook.

## Find a book on the shelf

1. In the side menu, select **Notebook**.
2. If your notes cover more than one department, choose the **Department**.
3. Under **Year of study**, select a year.
4. Find the book of the module. Its name is on its spine.
5. Select the book. It turns to show its cover, with its year and its number of notes.
6. Select **Open the notebook →**, or select the cover.

The page opens on your own year if this year holds notes. If not, it opens on the year of your latest note.

If the shelf holds more books than the screen can show, swipe it sideways. The arrows above the shelf also go from book to book.

To put a book back, select **Put back**. On a computer, you can also press <kbd>Esc</kbd>.

For the residency, the books stand in groups, one group for each unit.

If you have no notes yet, the page says **Your Notebook is empty**.

## Go from a question to the Notebook

After you write a note on a question, an arrow appears at the top of its notes.

1. Open the notes of the question.
2. Select the arrow, next to the title or the tabs of the notes.

The book of the module opens on the page of this question. The question shows in yellow for a moment. To go back to the question, use the back button of your browser.

If the course holds earlier notes, a line says how many. Select **Show** to see them.
