Clinical cases

A clinical case is a scenario with several questions. You answer them one at a time.

A clinical case starts with a scenario. Several questions follow, and you answer them one at a time.

In each set of a session, MedLibro shows the MCQs first, then the clinical cases.

Answer a clinical case

  1. Read the scenario at the top of the screen.
  2. Select the letter of each option that you think is right.
  3. Select Check.
  4. Select Next to go to the next question of the case.

After the last question of the case, Next leaves the case.

Read the two counters

A case shows two counters.

  • Scenario 3/120 is your place in the session. A case counts as one here.
  • Question 2/5 is your place in the case.

Each question of a case counts as one question in your score.

Hide the scenario

To get more room on the screen, select the small arrow beside the scenario’s counter. Select it again to show the scenario. The scenario comes back at the next question of the case.

What else differs from an MCQ

  • Skip closes only the question on the screen.
  • A scenario can hold its own images. See Images and highlights.
  • The bookmark button adds the whole case to a playlist, not one question.
  • In the ⋮ menu, the details and the Share link are about the whole case. Explain sends the scenario and the question on the screen.
  • Report the question is about the question on the screen. See Report an error.
